Co-Hosted by the Guilford Technical Community College Aviation Program & Jim “Rocket” Allred, GTCC Student & Aerospace Advocate

Join us in rooms 318/319 at the Aviation Campus 3 (Caesar Cone II Aviation Building) for a day filled with exciting talks, workshops, and networking opportunities in the aerospace industry. Meet industry experts, learn about the latest trends, and connect with like-minded professionals. Whether you're a seasoned veteran or just starting, there's something for everyone at SAI.

WHO IS ROCKET CONSULTING SERVICES?

We are aviation enthusiasts and advocates for space-related manufacturing and ventures to bring the once-dreamed-of reaching the stars, the moon, Mars, and beyond into reality from 2025 and into future centuries.

We believe, if we advocate, share knowledge and skills, and invite space-related supply-chain manufacturing to Greensboro, North Carolina, with the already expanding cluster of aviation manufacturing, that Greensboro, the gateway city, and the surrounding region around the Piedmont Triad International Airport are only a few leaps or a few years from becoming the gateway to the stars.

hOW DO WE DEFINE AEROSPACE?

Aerospace is the technology and industry concerned with both AVIATION and SPACE FLIGHT.

The region around the Piedmont Triad International Airport is already an economic cluster to many aviation companies and some space-related aerospace companies, including 21 Air, Amazon, Boom Supersonic, FedEx, HAECO Americas, Honda Aircraft Company, iAero Airways, JetZero, Koury Aviation, Marshall USA, Signature Aviation, Textron Aviation Greensboro Service Center, and Triad Aviation.

The Guilford Technical Community College, with its aviation and aerospace programs, is already training for the future, preparing workers for the current aviation-related jobs — practical & regulatory knowledge, problem-solving, and advanced technical skills — high-skill & high-paying jobs. With just a little nudge, skills learned for an aircraft manufacturer, Boom, HondaJet, JetZero, or aircraft repair like HAECO or Textron could be transitioned into advanced, high-skill, and high-paying jobs working on rocket structural, payload, guidance, and propulsion systems.

Space advocates, like you, are collaborating to bring space-related endeavors and aerospace companies to establish their headquarters here.
